Apple woman: how to dress

Sei un po' rotondetta. La tua parte superiore è più larga di quella inferiore.
Quando prendi peso, questo si accumula sulla pancia. Lo scopo è di ridefinire il tuo girovita e fare apparire il tuo torso più slanciato, allontanando l'attenzione dalla parte centrale del tuo corpo e focalizzarla sulle tue belle gambe e sul tuo seno.






So you’re a little round, big deal. Your upper body is larger in proportion then your lower body. When you gain weight it tends to go to your mid section. The goal is to define your waistline and make your torso appear longer then it is, drawing attention away for the midsection and focusing on your lovely 
legs and the breasts.






Tops


I colori scuri sono da preferire. Lo scollo a V ti permette di mettere in risalto il tuo torace spostando l'attenzione dalle tue spalle.I tagli stile impero sono i migliori per te. Indossare le giacche con la cintura può aiutare a definire il tuo girovita. Stai lontana dalle righe, i colori semplici sono meglio. Evita le maniche a sbuffo, ti ingrosserebbero.Indossa top lunghetti che si fermino sulla metà dei tuoi fianchi così da bilanciare la dimensione delle spalle. A usare un blazer non si sbaglia mai. Indossa il blazer aperto per ottenere una bella silhouette   Darker colors are best. V-necks will enhance your chest area taking the attention away for the shoulders, empire cuts are best for this shape. Wearing belted jackets can help define your waistline. Stay away from patters, simple is best for this shape. Puffy sleeves are a no go; they will make you look wider on top. Wear tops that reach lower then your waist and stop at the widest part of your hips to balance out the hip and shoulder ratio. Using a blazer on top is never failing; wear the blazer or jacket open for a nice vertical line.




Bottoms


I pantaloni o i jeans con gambe larghe ti faranno sembrare più alta. Devi scegliere capi semplici quindi evita le decorazioni. I pantaloni cut boot sono altrettanto validi.  Indossare i tacchi (se sai camminarci sopra) aggiungerà altezza e bilancerà il tuo corpo. 


Wide legged pants or jeans will make you appear longer. You want to stay simple so stay away from patterns. Boot cut are good also.Wearing heels ( if you know how to walk in them) will add height and balance to your body.





Dresses
Dai risalto alle tue gambe! Gli abiti corti (non troppo corti) un po' svasati aiuteranno a bilanciare spalle e fianchi. Gioca con i colori e motivi. Fai in modo da avere la parte superiore più scura e quella inferiore più chiara. Se sei bassa, evita gli abiti lunghi, ti farebbero sembrare ancor più bassa. Indossare tacchi o zeppe aiuta anch'esso a bilanciare la figura. Stile impero e tagli asimetrici aiutano a nascondere i difetti- Come per i top, le scollature profonde distolgono lo sguardo dalla tua parte centrale.
Flaunt your legs! Short dresses (not too short) that flare out towards the hemline will help to balance out the shoulder and hips ratio. You could play around with colors and patterns as long as it stays on your bottom half. Keep the top darker and the bottoms lighter. If you are on the shorter side, stay away from long dresses; they will make you look shorter. Wearing wedges or chunkier heels will help to create a balanced look as well. Empire and bias cuts help to hide tummy. Same as with tops, a lower neckline diverts eyes form middle.

Evita

• Pantaloni a vita alta che aggiungerebbero massa non desiderata
• Jeans Skinny a meno che tu non li indossi con stivali al ginocchio
• Gonne molto corte o con arricciature, o pieghe perchè ti farebbero sembrare un rettangolo.

Stay away from

• Clingy materials
• Bows, belts or anything that cinches in at the waist.
• High waisted pants as they will add bulk to unwanted areas
• Skinny Jeans, unless you have a chunky knee high boot over them.
• Very short, fitted or ruffled skirts, they will make you look boxy.

 

What is your shape?

The female body divides in four great families: apple woman , pear woman, hourglass and rectangle woman. To know to which of these you belong is (at least from my point of view) the point of fundamental departure for women that want to distinguish for look and style!   

Typically apples have:

• A fuller face and neck
• Broader shoulders
• Fuller Breast
• A fuller, undefined waist
• Narrow hips
• A flat rear end
• Shapley legs

                                                                    

Typically pears have:

• A long or slender neck
• Sloping or narrow shoulders
• Narrow back
• Small to medium bust
• Defined waist
• Curvy hips and backside
• Full thighs and calves

Typically hourglass have:

• Symmetrical shoulders and hips
• Full, shapely bust
• Distinctly defined waist
• Medium to broad hips in proportion with shoulders
• Shapely Legs

Typically rectangles have:

• A full neck
• Broad back
• Average bust
• Undefined waist
• A balanced figure
• Great legs and arms

E tu di che forma sei?

Il corpo femminile si divide in quattro grandi famiglie: donna mela, donna pera, donna clessidra e donna rettangolo. Sapere a quale di queste si appartiene è (almeno dal mio punto di vista) il punto di partenza fondamentale per donne che vogliano distinguersi in quanto a look e stile!

La Donna Mela ha:

un viso rotondo e paffutello

collo e spalle robuste

seno prosperoso

giro vita indefinito

fianchi stretti 

gambe magre e slanciate. 

La Donna Pera ha:

un collo lungo e snello 

spalle strette 

seno piccolo

vita sottile

fianchi e sedere pronunciati.

La Donna Clessidra ha:

spalle e fianchi simmetrici

vita sottile

busto e gambe proporzionate.

La Donna Rettangolo ha:

una figura molto esile

poche forme

spalle della stessa larghezza dei fianchi

Fracomina Spring-Summer Collection 2011

Collezione che si divide in sei temi ( Thé nel deserto, In wonderland, Saint Tropez, Tropic, Metropolitan, Basic signature) per abbracciare un po' tutti i gusti e le esigenze di noi donne. Non so cosa ne pensate voi ( e ovviamente mi farebbe piacere saperlo!) ma da qualche anno a questa parte sono sempre più "in love" con questo brand. Essendo campana l'ho visto nascere, crescere ed "evolversi" interpretando con sapienza le tendenze di moda.

This way the new collection of Fracomina is introduced for the spring summer 2011. Collection that divides it in six themes (Thé in the desert, In wonderland, Saint Tropez, Tropic, Metropolitan, Basic signature) to embrace some all the tastes and the demands of us women. I don't know what you think of it (and obviously would be a pleasure for me know it!) but from a few years to this part I am more and more "in love" with this brand. Being neapolitan I have seen it be born, to grow and "to evolve" interpreting with wisdom the tendencies of fashion.  
I propose you a small selection of proposals that more I liked.

Color Blocking

La primavera è arrivata e la parola d'ordine è color blocking ovvero via libera alla fantiasia e al mix and match di tutti i colori specie se fluo, forti, accesi, shocking! Gli stilisti dalle passerelle ci lanciano una bella sfida, voi siete pronte a raccoglierla? 
Ad ogni modo per ottenere un color blocking degno di questo nome, bisogna scegliere tre colori al massimo, tessuti il più possibile simili e avere ben chiara la teoria dei colori. Questo look funziona bene con accessori neutri perciò stacca con scarpe e cinture color crema o grigio. A queste regole aggiungerei anche il più banale e ovvio dei consigli: attenzione a non strafare, il rischio di cadere nel ridicolo è sempre dietro l'angolo! Di seguito alcune proposte davvero interessanti.

Spring is here and the word is color blocking, that is free your fantasy and mix and match colours of all kind, better the shocking one's! From catwalk, designers gave us a call, are you ready for this? For getting a good color blocking, you have to choose three colours maximum, suitings of the same type and to know the colors theory. This look works best with neutral accessories so break up with cream or grey shoes and belts. To these rules I add an obvious advice: be careful, don't overdo, you can risk to be ridiculous! Here you are some interesting proposals.

Bohémien Deluxe

E' Gisele Bündchen il volto della nuova campagna Spring-Summer 2011 Bohémien Deluxe realizzata dal brand svedese H&M. Conto di andarla a vedere da vicino quanto prima, ma questa collezione mi sembra davvero interessante. Innanzitutto perchè giovane, fresche e portabili in diverse situazioni e poi perchè queste linee morbide e fluide ben si adattano a tutti i fisici. Le due tute sono quelle che mi intrigano di più. Spero di farle entrare quanto prima nel mio armadio! Voi che ne dite? Vi piace la collezione? Comprereste qualche pezzo?

I hope to come and take a look to this collection, as soon as possible, as it looks very interesting to me.
